Die Neuerung betrifft Leichtflüssigkeitsabscheider kleiner Nenngröße, insbesondere mit einem quer in den Durchflußquerschnitt gestellten Einsatz zur Koaleszenz der mit dem Abwasser mitgeführten Leichtflussigkeitsdispersion. Es gibt Anwendungsfälle, in denen größere Abwassermengen mit geringer Verschmutzung stoßweise anfallen. Hierher gehören z.B. Bilgenabwässer auf Schiffen, die mit Maschinen- und Getriebeöl, Motorkraftstoffresten und Schmiermittel verschmutzt sind. Nach dem Abwasseranfall müßte ein wesentlich größerer Abscheider eingebaut werden. Dies kann jedoch vermieden werden, wenn neuerungsgemäß dem Abscheider ein Einfüllgefäß mit einer Auslaufdrossel vorgeschaltet wird. Die Drossel bewirkt, daß der Abscheider mit einer geringen Zulaufmenge beaufschlagt wird und demnach in der Nenngröße herabgesetzt werden kann. Der Auslaufdrossel kann auch noch ein Grobfilter vorgeschaltet werden, so daß grobe Schmutzstoffe schon dort zurückgehalten werden und den Koaleszenzeinsatz des Abscheiders nicht mehr zusetzen können.The innovation affects light liquid separators with a small nominal size, in particular with an insert placed across the flow cross-section for coalescing the light liquid dispersion carried along with the waste water. Dem untenliegenden Auslauf ist der in einem Käfig 7 geführte Schwimmer 8 mit Schließventil 9 vorgeschaltet. Ein seitlich abgehendes Handventil dient dem Abzug der angesammelten Leichtflüssigkeit. Zwischen Zulaufarmatur 4 und Käfig 7 steht der als offenporiger Schaumkunststoff ausgebildete Koaleszenzeinsatz 11, der in seitliche Führungsleisten 12 gesteckt ist und zur Reinigung herausgenommen werden kann.The illustrations show a light liquid separator equipped with the new features in longitudinal (Fig. 1) and cross-section (Fig. 2).
