Um artigo higiênico feminino absorvente (40) pode abranger uma cobertura permeável a liquido (62), e um membro absorvente (66), de forma operativa unido com a cobertura (62). A cobertura (62) pode abranger uma primeira porção de camada hidrofílica (68) unida, de forma operativa, com uma segunda porção de camada relativamente menos hidrofílica (30). A segunda porção de camada (30) pode ser posicionado em um lado do corpo do artigo (20); e a primeira porção de camada (28) pode ser posicionado entre a segunda porção de camada (30) e o membro absorvente (66).
