Abstract

La presente revela composiciones sensibles al agua, que pueden desecharse en el inodoro con estabilidad en líquidos mejorada y métodos para preparar dichascomposiciones. Las composiciones que pueden desecharse en el inodoro se basan en un polímero sensible al agua lleno con partículas de arcilla orgánicamentemodificada. En una realizacion, el polímero sensible al agua es un polímero de etileno, específicamente oxido de polietileno. Las películas de la presente sonsolubles en agua y son respirables y especialmente son utiles para aplicaciones para el cuidado personal incluyendo panales desechables, toallas femeninas,pantiprotectores y calzones entrenadores. De manera conveniente, las composiciones de la presente pueden hacerse en un procesode un paso y han reducido laviscosidad por fusion y fácilmente son procesadas por fusion en películas, fibras y otros artículos.
