De 5-sterrenreview van Mirba: Fried Poached Eggs Benedict?! Definitely was a first for me. I forgot what the base was but I think it served its purpose of holding up a delicate fried poached egg. The thin slice of pork loin was juicy and tender. The eggs had a light crunch on the outside, and when cut the yolk perfectly ran out. The sauce was a light lemon caper, not a typical hollandaise. And there was asparagus! Loved that dish, though everything else on the menu was quite tempting as well and made it tough to decide on a dish..

De 4-sterrenreview van Mirba: I've only been here twice for brunch now and I can't wait to become a regular. We had brunch, and the food was excellent. My first time there, we sat outside the first day they happened to offer outdoor seating. We were also able to indulge in the creme brulee before noon, it was delicious. I can't wait to find a reason to have dinner here soon. I love the location, because it's just a pleasant few minute walk away.

De 4-sterrenreview van Mirba: Standard brunch fare, but if you want something truly unique you must get the tom yum burrito! If 7x7 had that must eat in sf list again, it should be on there. Thai tea latte was good too.

De 5-sterrenreview van Mirba: I think I've become an eggs benedict connoisseur because I tend to order that when at brunch. I'm pretty sure I've had it a double-digit amount of times in SF. I had the biscuits and gravy benedict at Maven. It sounds heavy, but it was actually the lightest eggs benedict I've ever had. From bottom to top: Half a fluffy, spongey biscuit (the flour was yellow, maybe it was potato flour), a slice of herby chicken sausage (it was nice and moist), a perfectly poached egg (plump, the yolk was runny), and then the gravy. It was a fresh take on gravy as it tasted like it had green onion or leeks in it. It came with a side of chili potatoes. It was definitely the lightest eggs benedict, and one of the tastiest in the city hands down.
