I know a guy who trains small field mice to handle this issue. You just apply a dab of cheese to whatever hairs need removing, lay flat and release the little guys high on your chest just below your chin.
Sounds like a good contender for one of those Japanese game shows.

I bought a whole trim kit by Hatteker for about 50 clams and everything works nice except the nose hair trimmer. So I went back to my old single use trimmer. I need a new one also!

I just use the booger-hooks that fancy folk call fingers. All it takes is a little tug.

That’s where the hair goes when it starts migrating from the top of your head…

Kind of like the fish that eat dead skin off people's feet?

I use something similar to this: eyebrow trimmer
I use a guard for eyebrows, and can remove it for ears and nose. I mostly just yank nose hairs, then clean my ears with the trimmer. I do my eyebrows to keep them neat - I dislike when my - ahem! - my age get the long bushy eyebrows.

Small scissors with rounded tips. That is what they are made for and are safe.

Be very careful.
With extreme prejudice.
Like others, I use a little pair of round-tip scissors for nose hair. Somehow, I still end up hurting myself half the time, and it stings like a mo-fo. Not my favorite part of a morning hangover, lemmee tell ya.
I use the same disposable razor I use for shaving to cut hair on my ears, and I long ago snapped off the plastic head of one of those razors for cutting hair in my ears. You can hold it one way or the other, and run it around inside your earhole in one direction or the other. Works pretty well for me.
