Lost 12Gb of data, somehow, been busy updating files to Google drive, after uploading everything looked fine. Half a hour later everything is gone. Not Shure if it's just a simple sync issue with my account. Tried looking in two different devices with the same outcome. I didn't accidentally delete 16 + files by mistake. I have looked in the activity section and it appears that it has reverted back to a new account, as there is no record of anything I have done in the last 5 hours .

This app is very bad. Ignore any replies from Google team. The following issue has been here for years. The support team is lazy and they even don't bother holding a phone to test the upload issue. I tested it on many Samsung and pixel phones. A simple example of the problem. Just turn off WiFi and mobile data. Try adding a file to Google Drive. It will say waiting for network. Turn on connections again to complete the upload and this won't happen. Want a solution? Easy use OneDrive!!!!!!

Hi, Mohamed. Could you try turning off the "Transfer files only over Wi-Fi” settings? Follow the steps in this article: http://goo.gle/3pbzUK2. If it doesn't work, please try reinstalling the app or connecting to a different network. Hope it helps!

Fails to upload, cannot see pdf files when adding to calendar unable to uninstall from android. It's a pita. Thank you for your help Yes I've tried over wi fi too, two different ones. Three files just sit there spinning. (And now a fourth.) Why would I need to use a third party app All I need to do is upload a file (a pdf ticket) and then add that ticket to a Google calendar event. The fix is to log out of Google, revert to the installed Drive, log back in to Google and update Drive.

Hi, Ken. Have you tried to upload the file to Google Drive using a different network? Also, Google Drive is mainly for file storage. You might need a third party app to interact with particular type of files such as PDF. Hi there. You can also try uninstalling the Drive app by following the steps here: https://goo.gle/2SoitJl.
