Statements about eye colour could be made for many species or individuals thereof, so I am wondering whether having a property dedicated to humans is useful, especially since the item eye color (Q23786) the property is referring to does not make that destinction. --Daniel Mietchen (talk) 04:28, 25 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

As many other properties, its meant for specific persons not humans in general.

It is better to use something like:

If you're gonna do that, I don't see a reason for why you just don't just get rid of the 'eye color' trait to begin with. On top of this, I am fairly certain that fictional humans can have any eye color that the creator wants them to. I really don't understand this constraint, or why there needs to be a distinction between what is an 'eye color' and a 'color', because, as previously mentioned, fictional entities, even humans, can have whatever color their creator wants. I'd rather just get rid of the 'eye color' instances of any color, as well as get rid of the bot that converts them, because I see no reason for their existences. If for some reason, a color is different when it's an eye color than it's typical form, that information would be made clear by the fact that it's being applied to the eye color property!
