What happened to the "list of new stuff"

Parent article: A new package index for Python

The new site looks very fancy and pretty. But my primary use of it was to periodically (read as every 2/3 hours) refresh the home page to see what was new. I've looked and used tons of stuff based on that page. What happened to it ? How can we track new and interesting things ?

Thanks for the question.

In the short term, you might want to use this libraries.io page, or subscribe to the Newest Packages RSS feed or the Latest Updates RSS feed.

For a longer-term solution, we're working on a few related issues: giving the user the option to see more search results on a (bookmarkable, I'd predict) search query, adding an "search by new release" sort order, and an RSS feed for new file uploads to existing packages.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the suggested alternative. It will certainly do for the meantime - altho' it really means we're not on the site anymore ! Of course, when you're not actually paying for a service, you can't really complain, so I hope my original post didn't come over too strongly as one.
