Universitas Aurorae fuit universitas catholica Sciamhaevi, die 27 Februarii 1903 condita ab Societate Iesu. Fundatores istius scholae superioris fuerunt iesuita Sericus Ma Xiangbo et confratres nonnulli Francogalli.[1]. Ex anno autem 1906 Franci rectores universitatis facti sunt.[2] Postquam communismus in Sericis saevire coepit, institutum catholicum anno 1952 abolitum est.
