This game was a lot of fun! I loved the writing of the hints and the easter eggs. Nice touches with the dust effect while Pascal walks and jumps, and just generally a very clean art style that worked well for the game.
I hit a bug on level 2 where the chandelier landed on the enemy but didn’t kill him (worked the next time after I restarted the level). Also, I noticed that the gun sprite doesn’t flip when the character does. No big deal, just something to look into if you revisit after the jam.
Oh wow, what a gem! The game feels very polished! The character is super cute and I love the tidbits of information presented on signs. Great work.
The animations and effects were awesome. I liked how the puzzles had a story element to them. Yummy fish!
I love the presentation, music, graphics, sound, character movement. But I can't seem to get the gun to fire! I tried for about 5 minutes before giving up. If you can help, I'll take another look and give you some better feedback. As it stands, it's hard to rate (except for style, which is an easy 5 stars from me).
After seeing another playtest just now, maybe you did not get the gun yet ! (We didnt have the time to put the cursor only when you have the gun). You need to push the first box on the glass protecting the gun in level 2 to get it! My friend pushed the box in another direction and got stuck like that haha. Definitely a level design thing that could have been fixed with more playtest time :D
Well, that makes a lot more sense now! I really enjoyed my second playthrough of that! Inventive level design. I think I've seen a similar mechanic to that somewhere before, but I can't remember where.
I found the speedy controls a little too fast for my aging reflexes, but I can't argue that it was fun and a full complete polished game. Congratulations!
I was suprised how much this game was polished when i saw the pictures on the home page but i must say that this game is very cool to play so good job !
The art style match the game. I like the sound of jumping and the vfx alongside with it. It does feel good to jump. The game is pretty polished. If I were to add something on thing game that would make it better would be to play test it with other people and see where they struggle is. Improve that or add element that would lead to solving them. I have a problem solving the puzzle but then I'm not a puzzle fan so take it as a grain of salt.
Very cute and good level design!! Everything is smooth and I love the graphic.
