A. Pietsch of Ziegenhals operated from about 1890 to 1930. Ziegenhals is a town in Silesia which has been in Austria, Germany and Poland in the last 200 years. It is now known as Głuchołazy, and is on the border of Poland and the Czech Republic. Most of its publications were Catholic church music, by composers such as J. Bauer (1861-1943) and especially Josef Gruber (1855—1933).
Another, possibly related, Pietsch company existed in nearby Neustadt, now Prudnik, from 1869 to 1877.
