I try to type code like this:
BRCA_data = getTCGA(disease = "BRCA", data.type = "Methylation", type = "450K", clinical = TRUE)`

The result shows that:

Methylation data will be imported! This may take some time!

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
/usr/bin/tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
/usr/bin/tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
/usr/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

I don't know why.... I have searched this error many times and read a lot of articles in google. They all tell me the file is corrupted... Wait for your answer, thank you sincerely.

This error is caused by failed untar. Seems like the tar function was not installed or not being recognized by R properly in your Windows 10.
