Zellij not redrawing correctly when new pane created

Further information

To reproduce:

Start a zellij session (e.g. with zellij)
Open a file in Helix (couldn't reproduce with NeoVim)
Create a new horizontal split pane (e.g. with Ctrl+b n or Ctrl+p d)
Observe that the new pane contains artifact leftover text from Helix, which should be cleared
