`NewTab` action not respecting `cwd` argument? #4123

Why doesn't this open the new tab to my home directory? It opens to whatever directory the current tab was open to.

keybinds clear-defaults=true {
  bind "Alt n" {
    NewTab {
      cwd "/home/myuser"
    }
  }
}

zellij action new-tab -c $HOME --layout ~/.config/zellij/layouts/default.kdl has the same behavior, does not respect the -c argument.
