While pT uses the Song-Chain-Phrase sequencer model popularised by LSDJ, many people may be more familiar or comfortable with a "flat" model as used by classic Amiga trackers, MilkyTracker, etc.

It should be possible to map a flat model sequencer UI onto pT's existing model and present a UI for it.

This could also open the possibility of importing classic tracker file formats.

Note: going in the other direction of S-C-P to flat model is not in scope here.
