I’ve been working on a lightweight security monitoring solution that’s designed for resource-constrained environments — such as embedded Linux systems, industrial gateways, and even Windows edge nodes.
The tool is called MicroAI Security & Monitoring. It’s focused on delivering real-time telemetry and threat detection at the device level, especially where it’s not feasible to run full endpoint agents like traditional SIEM tools.
A few highlights:
I’m wondering if anyone here has experience augmenting Wazuh with external telemetry sources from lightweight agents like this? Or maybe building hybrid pipelines where full Wazuh agents aren’t deployable, but you still want visibility?
Would love any feedback on use cases, potential integrations, or areas where this type of agent might complement what Wazuh already does so well.
Here’s the repo if you’re curious: https://github.com/MicroAIInc/MicroAI-Security-and-Monitoring
Thanks in advance!
