With other blockchains, it is the logic that is stored with the contract. This is what's immutable.
If we allow the underlying logic of a smartweave contract to be altered/evolved (with room for evolution before the first transfer, possibly), it seems we've defeated ourselves from a different angle. A creator can still "pull the rug" by altering the description/title or changing logic inside functions that allow changes to the token's state that weren't possible when the buyer paid for the token.

Hey all, I read through the proposed AA specs at https://academy-hogoggb6d-redstone-finance.vercel.app/standards/atomic-asset, and I agree with the asserton that an NFT is incomplete without the data it represents.
However, there's 2 sides to that coin.
