Google closing their Season of Docs program has been on my mind for a while, so I think a topic on how this WC3 group can help novices & career changers like myself get paid experience in working with technical documentation is worth discussing.

Hey @CBID2, thanks for your idea! This Community Group is not focused on career building. I suggest you look into the Write The Docs Hiring Guide https://www.writethedocs.org/hiring-guide/. WTD also has a Slack https://www.writethedocs.org/slack/ with several channels like #job-posts-only, #career-advice, and #work-wanted that might be helpful to you.

For what's in scope for the W3C Docs CG, please see our charter: https://github.com/w3c-cg/webdocs/blob/main/charter.md#scope-of-work
