In the AI example on the MessageList docs page, add an ARIA live region somewhere that the app logic uses to announce the AI's processing and the arrival of new messages:

  • When the AI starts processing a prompt, set the region text to something like "AI is processing the prompt"
  • When a new message has arrived and the AI has finished streaming it, set the region text to something like "New message available"
