Description
For example, on Github, trying to edit:
-
The issue search text box
After editing, saving and exiting the editor, the text box will not be updated unless I immediately try editing the text box natively (for example by pressing space or some other key). Then the edits done in the native editor will appear.
If on the other hand I unfocus the text box and then come back to it, this trick will no longer work—the edits from the native editor will have disappeared completely.
-
The issue description, i.e. the text area I'm typing this in right now
Native edits are immediately reflected in the text area after closing the native editor. However, attempting to create the issue or previewing it will make the edits disappear. Though it appears it doesn't happen every time but I'm at a loss as to why.
On the other hand, editing the search text box on google.com works, though it leaves the cursor somewhere in the middle of the input string rather than correctly moving it to the end like it worked before.
I believe all of this used to work correctly, so something must've changed but I'm not sure what. I tested on a clean Firefox profile, with Tridactyl settings deleted and without a tridactylrc.
