Hello i have:
MCU:240316 SS:240316 FPGA:05
Saturn motherboard: VA PAL

and on this game i got some big problem with audio.
the biggest problems are during the reproduction of the voices.

I have tryed different firmware version, global settings and sd card :
play_delay = 30000
sector_delay = 08000
pend_delay = 08000
But no changes at all

Is your mainframe an early dual-light version?
If not, please upload a video. I'm not sure if it's due to the host version issue or other reasons

I tested it and it seems normal, no need to add any delay value. Not sure what your problem is, need more people to test it

Burned and tested on cd, its have the same problem.
So its not a saroo error. Seems hardware from saturn.

SOLVED: Its was due to 50/60 hz PAL-NTSC
solved with 60Hz mod.

Thanks

I only knew that some pal games would have problems running on motherboards in other regions. I didn't expect that pal motherboards would also have problems running games in other regions. Thank you for your test and update feedback. Thank you very much

It makes sense when you think about it. PAL Motherboards will run at 50Hz, so they're going to be running 17% slower than an NTSC board. Any game made for 60Hz that has things specifically tied to that speed is going to have issues. With this game the cutscenes are done in a style similar to Sega CD cutscenes with streamed audio and animated sprites and backgrounds. So if the game is rendering those graphics 17% slower than the audio being streamed from the disc, you're going to get desync problems like this.

Grandia's FMV codec is another game that can have this happen which is why I've tried to figure out what region console people are running on when they've reported issues with that game to me.
