My pyproject file:
[project] name = "my-app" description = "My app" version = "1.13.1" requires-python = "<3.14,>=3.12" [[project.authors]] name = "Joe Blogs" email = "whiz.bang@example.com"
After running pyproject-fmt pyproject.toml
pyproject-fmt pyproject.toml
[project] name = "my-app" version = "1.13.1" description = "My app" authors.email = "whiz.bang@example.com" authors.name = "Joe Blogs" [[project.authors]] classifiers = [ "Programming Language :: Python :: 3 :: Only", "Programming Language :: Python :: 3.12", "Programming Language :: Python :: 3.13", ] requires-python = "<3.14,>=3.12"
Note the remaining broken [[project.authors]] field.
