Jens Maus

jens-maus
Dresden, Germany

I am a passionate computer scientist by education and an open source evangelist. I am the maintainer of RaspberryMatic, an open-source IoT gateway targeted for HomeMatic/homematicIP IoT devices. I love to work on open source projects in general, to make this world an easier and also smarter world. During the last years I have mostly spent my free time in developing smart home solutions that make homes of my users more easy and thrilled and I would love to continue to do that because I think that in future smart home will go into broad main stream and I would like to be a part of that. In addition, I am maintaining several nodejs-based libraries (node-unifi, node-ical). Apart from that I have records in developing for good-old AmigaOS-based computer systems where I am also the maintainer of the YAM e-mail client.

So if you believe that my open-source work is worth a dime, please consider sponsoring it because it would not only feature my future motivation to continue working on open-source projects. It would also allow me to stay independent and as I love open source development.

@jens-maus

It is so amazing to see that I have reached my 40 continued sponsors goal here on my OSS endeavour. Therefore, I am now seeking for another 40 sponsors willing to support more of my open source work. So, if you are appreciating my OSS work as much as the previous sponsors are doing, please consider joining so that I can perhaps at some point reach my final goal and quit my day job for doing 100% OSS work. But one thing is clear now: I will invest even more of my free time on OSS development. Definitely Promised!
