My name is Avery Wagar. I’m a student at Ballard High School in Seattle, WA.

I build high-throughput, high-performance networking services and multi-threaded CLI applications. Preferred languages and technologies include Rust, WASM, Node.js, Python and a few others.

I'm also interested in spatial computing (VR/AR) and embedded programming.

🎉🧪 Popular Projects

• 🦕 Stego is a steganographic swiss army knife. It allows users to encode various types of data into image files. Using least-significant-bit steganography, it’s hard to tell a difference to the human eye.
• 🐑 Merino is a multi-threaded SOCKS5 Proxy implementation in 100% safe Rust. It can easily handle connections from multiple machines and proxy content at over 1Gbps.
• 👽 UFO is a Drone/Quadcopter control library for Rust. It has generic traits for flying drones and other RC vehicles. Along with an example implementation for a cheap toy-drone which I reverse-engineered. It provides a base and a strong API for handling drone commands in real-time.

🚧🚦 Upcoming Projects/Roadmap

• 🤖 Threepio will allow users to dynamically create compact binary networking protocols using Procedural derive and macro in Rust. It will then allow Serde to turn data structures into byte arrays to be sent over the wire and vice versa.
• ☕ MochaPi is currently a private repository. It will eventually be a tutorial on creating a portable secure router for use in coffee shops or on the go. Along with scripts and images for automated setup. It uses a Pi Zero W and an additional WiFi dongle to create a secure AP that tunnels through an open wifi network using a VPN or encrypted proxy.
