Hi,
Recently, I came across with this dealiasing technique called implicit dealiasing, proposed by Bowman & Roberts (SIAM J. Sci. Comput., 33:386, 2011). It is also implemented in this 'new version' of FFTW called FFTW++.
I wonder if anyone has any interest in implementing

this technique in spectralDNS, and maybe we can coorporate on this. It could be a huge improvement over the old dealiasing techniques (padding, filtering, etc).
