During the 2024.1 release, using pytables version 3.9 and later caused issues running on Windows. The issue was that whenever pytables was imported, it would briefly popup a DOS window. This detracted from user experience, and we decided to downgrade pytables.

This issue can be checked in future releases.

We have increased the pytables version for 2025.1 (#1474 and #1476) and I don't have an issue in the VM, but this needs checking by FOT.

I have confirmed that this issue is no longer appearing in the FOT MATLAB Windows tools python environment when using 2025.2rc1
