Ranger file manager (linux) can show images preview (via w3m as far as I know) a lot way better than terminal-image. Is that possible to get such quality? Ranger shows in terminal exactly the source quality of an image.

Can you include a screenshot of how it looks? I use neither Ranger nor Linux, so I don't have any information on this. terminal-image does render full-quality images if you're using the iTerm terminal on macOS as it supports a special ANSI escape code for that.
