For those who use this package in serious situations like academia and corporations, Clippy can be turned off.

For those who love a humorous touch or has a soft place in their hearts for this cartoonish character, Clippy can be turned on.

Makes both sides happy.

Default behavior? My two cents: default to OFF, because new users are not expecting to seeing Clippy. Less surprise is better software.
