I was recently granted maintainer access to a project on github (https://github.com/Yakifo/amqtt) because the previous maintainers were no longer interested in continuing the project. I'm working with the project's community to get the next release out but the old maintainers never gave me access to pypi. I'm listed as a maintainer on the project, is there a way that I can get access to the amqtt project on pypi so I can make the project's next release?
I should have reached our earlier, but I wanted to introduce myself as I've joined Marius as a maintainer of the amqtt project. First, and foremost, super appreciative of all the work you've done over the years to keep the project going. And hoping that we can continue that going forward.
I'm a freelancer and have had a week or so in between jobs, so have had some time to dig into outstanding issues and pull requests. With the help of others in the community, the code base now supports python 3.10+. I've done an expansion of the documentation as well as fix a few different bugs that have been in the backlog.
I will work with Marius to figure out what should be included in the next release, but I wanted to find out about readthedocs and pypi and if there was anything we needed in order to update both of those. Not quite ready yet for either, but want to make sure everything is ready to go when we do the next release.
Once again, thank you so much for your contribution to the open source community, And very excited to carry the torch forward.
Sincerely,
Andrew
