When double click the Pyscripter.exe, the Error Window show with the Error message:

Are you using the 64bit or the 32 bit version?

I am not able to reproduce this and got no other report of such an issue. (there have been already 1500 downloads).
Does the error occur both with the installed and the zip version?

This is quite a basic failure, that I find very hard to explain.

  • Could it be some issue with hard disk problems? Could you run chkdsk to make sure that this is not the issue.
  • Can you put the zip distribution in a different hard disk (or a virtual one) to see if this helps?

"TSVGIconItem.SVGText: Error Parsing SVG Text: System Error. code: 126 can not find the module".

Is this the full error message? Doesn't it say which module? This error comes from a Windows DLL that PyScripter uses.

I guess it should be the system issue. I downloaded x64 versions's Pyscripter from V4 to V5.2.1 zip files. And unzip them to the different disk. the error is same, just with the different errorcode 000000000000XXXXXX.
And I will try the another pc next day.

Could you please translate the Chinese part to English?
