Can't create a new folder from right click menu after changing language, interface

After changing the language, interface from polish to english us, then restarting I right clicked to create a new folder on the desktop and an error message popped up saying that path "~/Pulpit" doesn't exist. And of course it doesn't because I changed the language along with the names of the folders, from polish (Pulpit) to english (Desktop).

After a 2nd restart the issue resolved itself.
