Describe the Feature Request

API definitions have a version and with each change, the API version should be increased. Currently, the API version is always "1.0.0", which is not helpful.

This information would also be relevant for weak ETags and last modified headers of the API definition resource.

Describe the Use Case

Clients need to be able to detect that an API definition has changed.

Describe Preferred Solution

Automatically detect changes at each start of an API and update the version information.
