When canvas blocker is installed, many video sites will not work.

Description

When I visit https://watchdbz.xyz/2020/11/08/dragon-ball-episode-2-the-emperors-quest-english-dubbed/with canvas blocker installed, the video doesn't play saying an error message "sandbox embed not allowed", disabling the extension also does not work. To make it work, you have to uninstall canvasblocker.

Expected Behaviour

Video should play normally as intended.

Current Behaviour

Showing an error message "Sandbox Embed Not allowed". Opening it in new tab also shows same error message.

Possible Solution

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. visit https://watchdbz.xyz/2020/11/08/dragon-ball-episode-2-the-emperors-quest-english-dubbed/
  2. play the video.
  3. it shows the error message.

Context

This error occurs on many video sites not just this one. It should be looked into high priority.

Your Environment

  • CanvasBlocker Version used: 1.9
  • Firefox version incl. 32- or 64-bit: Firefox 113.0.2 64bit
  • Operating System and version (desktop or mobile): Windows 11
    error.txt

Your Settings

Default canvasblocker settings.

Sorry for checking in so late.

This site has very weird behaviour and links to very suspicious other sites. So I disabled the links...

Also It does not work at the moment with disabled CB as well... do you have another example?

I'm not sure if CanvasBlocker actually even does mess with certain video hosting providers' embedded players, the aforementioned "Sandbox embed" error (often displayed as "remove sandbox attribute from iframe") is something very common, which is not induced by CB but the website itself: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_iframe_sandbox.asp
