In Markdown extraction, whenever there's a relative link (government websites like EPA use them), it'd be super useful to convert to an absolute URL given the inputted page URL. It could be an option, but I'm struggling to think of a use case for defuddle where preserving relative URLs makes sense, so converting them by default makes sense to me.
