Episodes are automatically named according to their title. Auto merging of different versions of the same Episode is currently not supported, so multiple files that represent the same episode are all listed separately in the season overview. Merged Movies support labels: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies#multiple-versions-of-a-movie Until the feature becomes available, you can merge the episodes manually, but I'm not sure if manually merged files support labels.

What I did for now was disabling metadata from the Internet and using screen grabber to get the images for the episodes. Unfortunately, other shows can't get the metadata or images now. What I want to do in some point is create a new library just for Doctor Who. |

You can create screenshots in vlc or other media players and add them manually to the related episodes. |

If you know some C#, you can write a custom plugin to do it. Although it's not exactly well documented how to do it. There is a plugin here someone wrote you can use as a reference which allows for a specific custom folder structure which should get you most of the way there. |

I'm trying to organize my Doctor Who episodes, and I have some episodes with multiple versions, like animated, telesnap, etc. The problem is; even I put the type in the filename, it doesn't show in the title itself.

I have five episodes with the same title, but they are different, so I would like to the title, and the picture of the episode, be based on the filename and the content, respectively. Any ideas how to do that?
