Description
What should happen
An option to put the sound in async mode.
So, the speed of the sound runs asynchronously of the speed of the video. So, if someone wants to run the game in turbo mode, only the video will be accelerated.
Who would this benefit
Would be great when, for example, you have to walk a lot in a section of a game, you would be able to speedrun that part without breaking the inmersion caused by having to endure the annoying accelerated audio or having to mute the sound of the emulator
Platform (if relevant)
Windows
Games this would be useful in
Rpgs. Or for example. Naruto ultimate ninja impact in all the parts when you are not fighting and you run searching the next group of enemies, so the flow of the game is more dynamic.
Other emulators or software with a similar feature
Some RPG remasters have an option like that i think, if im not mistaken, some Final Fantasy remasters.
Dolphin had an option like that in the past.
I know that, emulator wise its a less accurate way of doing things , but gameplay wise, would be a cool feature.
