This guide doesn't really show you how to access the files on the Home Assistant OS. It also contains some confusing and incorrect information which leads to wasted time and frustration. If users are unable to access the whole filesystem through any of the methods listed it should say that front and center to avoid frustration and wasted time.
For example, I have installed Samba Share as described and it gives access to a some folders one of which is 'addons', in the HA docs for Samba Share it states that this is for your 'local addons'. One would expect this to be addons that are installed on Home Assistant. However, it is explained in home-assistant/operating-system#634 that this is 'for accessing/creating custom/your own add-ons, and if you don't have any of those, it is supposed to be empty'. My use case is simply that I want to add some custom voice files to the Piper addon at /mnt/data/supervisor/addons/data/core_piper/ and I simply need to put these files in the correct folder. Getting access to this folder should be straightforward but is really difficult and the documentation is misleading.
