Description
Why
I think that if we're going to build a distribued movement we have to very explicitly design the culture, and what binds us together as a community.
What
In the spirit of doing so, I took the liberty of drafting up the below Mission, Vision, Values, and Cultural attributes of this network.
This is in NO WAY final, and I am an equal participant in the conversation with each of you. Please consider this thread a living document.

The World We Want to Build
We want to build a world in which anyone has the financial leverage to quit their job and work on OSS.

We want to build a network with aligned incentives between every actor in the system.

Fix things twice
Identify and validate your assumptions
Care about people (not just tasks).
