Hi all,
I'm working with custEM and pyGIMLi to run EM inversions. I've tried to thoroughly read the docs and previous discussions, but I did not find an answer.
My first question is: I created a "Basement.asc" ESRI topo file based on a horizon inferred by 3D seismic. Do you have any hints if there is any combination of pyGIMLi routines to incorporate this layer into the 3D mesh?
My meshing code doesn't work at the moment, all files are in the attachment here for_pygimli_github.zip. An up-to-date installation of custEM is needed. I couldn't make the add_interface() custEM built-in function work (line 56). I was wondering if I could replace it with a combination of pyGIMLi functions?
The final idea behind this is to cut the regularization of the inversion around this interface to get a sharp contrast in resistivity. I saw an example in 2D, "Inversion with Structural Constraints," and it would be perfect to reproduce it in 3D.
