When autostarted at login time, there is a race condition between xscreensaver and joystickwake: If joystickwake is started first, the initial event it receives when opening the joystick device will cause it to run xscreensaver-command before xscreensaver is running. When that fails, joystickwake will make no further attempt to wake xscreensaver for that login session.

I'll fix this soon.
