I'm assuming this is only unique to the website and not the actual NPM package in production environments, correct?

@ayuhito hi, no, I got this issue after updating @fontsource/inter package to the latest version. So, it is reproducible on my project and the https://fontsource.org/fonts/inter site as well. I didn't check all package versions. There was a 4.5.15 version. I updated it to 5.0.20 and got this issue. I think it is a common issue.

I'm able to recreate this on Google Fonts as well, so it probably hints to an upstream bug. I don't think I was able to reproduce this on the official source website, so it is probably related to Google Fonts' processing and optimisations.

I suggest making an issue at google/fonts instead, as we mirror all our files from them.
