The FXCM FIX API, built on the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) Protocol 4.4, is a high-performance, real-time solution tailored for institutional clients. - To establish and maintain FIX connectivity, clients must deploy an application capable of managing network connections and sending/receiving FIX messages. - Trading Session Schedule FXCM trading sessions reset weekly, with the following schedule: Opening: Sundays between 5:00 PM and 5:15 PM Eastern Time (ET). Closing: Fridays at 4:55 PM ET.
