I've got an M607 Griffin, running Nobara, GNOME on Wayland if that matters.
Pretty new to Linux gaming and hardware troubleshooting, so please bear with me.
I followed the instructions as far as I can tell, and created the below configuration, which is more or less the same as your example, but with slightly different DPI settings and the side buttons remapped, and only a single profile configured. (Commentary is removed to avoid clutter)
Hiya! Really appreciate the project!

When I apply it, the mouse flashes wildly for a second, then picks a solid colour, then starts the wave. Great.
However, it's still got all 5 default DPI settings, and the side buttons are not registering as shift and ctrl respectively.
Any idea where I went wrong here?
Edit: After applying the config, I also forced it to use profile 1.
