I'll consider this, but I don't think it'd be that useful. There are already 6 ways to sort, and a way to hide tasks by archiving them. Plus moving tasks on your today list to separate tabs isn't going to help you do them, and just hides things you should be seeing anyway, so you know to do them. |
You can add collapsible groups of habits with a "total check button" that checks them all off. This way you can see your grouped habits in a single screen as well as their total status. |
I prefer tags over categories, because more flexible use. |
@serrq why not both? (Assuming the devs are willing to spend the time on them) |
The tag can acts like a category. But not viceversa. So categories are not necessary in my humble opinion. |
Not necessarily. With categories, you can see a collapsible "habit" that shows the overall status of the habits in the category, and when expanded shows those habits. If you try doing this with tags, you will have to limit habits to a single tag each since that's necessary to group them as described above. Tags are useful in their own way by filtering habits even if they are from different categories. Personally, I don't have more than 10 habits so I don't need these features anyway... but why not have more? [greedy face :)] |
Describe your suggested feature
I think it'd be useful for people (such as myself) who feel overwhelmed by the amount of tasks on their app due today. It'd be great to have an option to sort them.
For me, if I see 10 tasks on one tab, I might not do even one, but dividing them helps a lot.
Other details
I found this feature in Grit's todo lists.
