Can't get my shounds to work

I have installed shound, installed the theme, and set the theme, but I have have no shound.

When I type shound theme i see

Name: github.com/daved/shound-star_trek

When I type shound theme validate, i see

shound: theme: validate: no theme repo

when I type shound theme list, i see

Available Themes:
  github.com/daved/shound-star_trek
  star_trek

I did not modify the config.yaml or the shound.yaml the theme folder. I am on mac os 13.6.9. How can I get some shounds shounding?
