generate/export config JSON schema so it can be used with VSCode extension to validate embed config json
some reply/respond callback in on listener for a sendAsync call?
separate messages schemas for each direction? (app->client and client->app)
add map messages (center, zoom, marker)
decide if we're calling them "apps" or "embeds"
proxy keyboard events so we can catch hotkeys (escape, q, etc.)
