Description
Description
Clicking any link in a CryptPad Rich Text document results in the link being routed through sandbox.cryptpad.info/bounce, such that e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page becomes
https://sandbox.cryptpad.info/bounce/#https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FMain_Page
This link in turn gives a red "Deceptive site ahead" warning in Firefox:
Firefox blocked this page because it may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing personal information like passwords or credit cards.
Advisory provided by Google Safe Browsing.
I don't know whether Firefox or Google Safe Browsing are right or wrong to warn about this domain, but it's also kind of besides the point: when I click on a link in a document, I just want the link to be opened directly, not to be routed through any sort of redirection service.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new Rich Text document at https://cryptpad.fr/pad/
- Type any text and insert a hyperlink to any URL, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
- Click the link
