We recently installed a newest version (2025.1) of CP2K on our work station for simulating the interaction of molecules and laser field. What we noticed is that there is a new keyword: INTENSITY_LIST_NAME in the input section PERIODIC_EFIELD, which containting a list of field strengths, one value per time frame. However, we got an error when we ran the CP2K: found an unknown keyword INTENSITIES_FILE_NAME in section PERIODIC_EFIELD. That's very confusing and we have no idea how to deal with it.

These keywords are currently only available in the CP2K master trunk and will be finally available with our next release. If you make use of the online manual, make sure that you choose the correct version for which there is a switch on the far bottom left.
