Using SPARQL I found out that a large proportion of Wikidata items about geographic points do NOT have a latitude/longitude. For instance, most parks in my neighborhood had no latitude/longitude, even though these are easily findable.
Solution: Android app users could contribute pictures even when there is no latitude/longitude. In a second phase, we could even ask the user if they want to set the Wikidata latitude/longitude to the picture's latitude/longitude. In a third phase we could even let the user set the exact latitude/longitude using a map, as the picture might be taken from far away.
UI: Probably an item in the three-dots menu. We could also suggest it as a tappable snack when there are no red pins found.
