Currently you can manually enter IDs or import them. Importing is can be cumbersome because there is currently no way to manage duplicates. So it creates a duplicate and this must be resolved before the the updates can be saved.
Perhaps an option when uploading Unit IDs to either overwrite the exisitng ID if a duplicate is found, keep the existing ID and ignore the imported one, or let the user choose for each one.
SDRTrunk is now capturing Unit IDs along with their labels for one of the systems that I monitor. The list is in the thousands, but currently there is no easy way to import them into RDIOScanner without dealing with hundreds or thousands of duplicates.
Also it would be nice to be able to search by Unit ID number instead of the Display Label.
Thanks!
